Sorry to hear about Sawako's passing. I loved her music, particularly the albums "Hum" and "nu.it". May she rest in peace.

Ciao Taylor,

It would also be very interesting to share some old patches on the Nord Modular for loyal Clavia users. I have listened to your album Balance with Frank Bretschneider hundreds of times, and it would be very educational to know how you did sound design on the Nord during that period. I believe it was the G1 model, or am I mistaken?

hi emiliano

thank you for your interest in that album and those sounds. i don't have either the G1 or G2 anymore.. so no access to the patches to share, unfortunately!

Do you remember if you used the Nord for melodic purposes or to simulate the classic click and cuts? I believe that type of processing was entrusted to Frank Brettschneider? Thanks for your time:)

This blog is intimate and beautiful, and your words. I almost forgot: the 11th commandment of 12k "01 Everything will change" I always carry in my heart🩷

Sure, I imagined as much, of course, too many years have passed. The piece I adore the most on that album is Interlock. However, it would be nice if you could at least remember what kind of patches you made or have made for that album.

As a lover of both Raster and 12k, in that track I can clearly distinguish both of your personalities. I know your sound and Frank's well enough to admit it confidently:)
