ECHOES OF A LATE SUMMER NIGHT
in the studio tonight, experimenting with a forthcoming pedal that i’m beta testing for the creator and realized the sounds i was making shared the rhythm with the, rather loud, late summer woodland insects pleasantly dinning in the dark.
i thought i’d share these with you /
SHARING THE SUMMER NIGHT
the sound source here is the Sines script on Norns, played via this pedal, and then traveling through some saturation and a swirling reverb on a Meris Mercury X pedal. it sounds, to me, perhaps like you’re listening to the forest outside my door while you’re underwater.

similar effect here. i feel it’s a call and response between the night chorus and me.
