FUTURE VALLEY
my dear friend Federico Durand has a new work out this week with fellow sonic explorer Pablo Picco on the Sonic Dialogue label called Los Colores.
it’s a very focused and meditative album made with just a kong ms-20 synthesizer and a harmonium.
federico and i talk quite a bit about making more music together, our first (and only) duo-collaboration being 2020’s This Valley Of Old Mountains. an album we are very proud of.
last year we began the very tiny baby steps of a new album and i had sent federico some sounds to work with. today i wanted to check in on those sounds, see if they were worth anything and i’m pleasantly surprised that there may be something of use there.
i’m sharing one below. i don’t recall how i made it and it may be interesting to hear it in its raw form and see how or if it changes once it makes it way onto a new TVoOM album.
I like the sparseness in this.
That sound clip is peaceful and soothing. I could listen to it for hours.
